How do Snake Drafts work?

In Snake Drafts, teams take turns drafting players live, with the pick order reversing each round. Once selected, that player cannot be drafted by another team. After the draft there are no trades or roster management since your highest scoring player at each position is slotted into your active lineup.

What are the restrictions for Snake Draft formats?

All Snake Draft formats are limited to the US, UK, and Canada. Additional geo-restrictions make players in Ohio ineligible for Snake Drafts.

What if I miss a live snake draft?

Accepted Answer

In order for your Snake Draft lineup to be eligible for prizes you must either edit the pre-draft rankings, add a player to your queue during the draft, or make a manual pick during the draft. Failure to take any one of the prior three actions will result in an invalid entry and you will not be eligible for prizes or a refund.

Can I be notified for my Snake Draft starting?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In order to get Snake Draft notifications, you will need to allow DraftKings notifications in your phone settings. We will prompt you to turn on your notifications in the waiting room (if they’re turned off). If you have notifications turned on, you will receive the following types of notifications:

Contest Filled - will get a push notification when the contest fills and the draft is about to start.

You’re Up - will get a push notification when it is your turn to pick
